Dear Neighbor,
When asked to write about our Cloverdale-Idlewild neighborhood, the first thing that comes to my mind is CHARACTER. Whether talking about character of our historic homes, shady trees and quiet streets, or the character of the people who live here, we have it all. From newborns to senior citizens, all races and walks of life, we co-exist in harmony. Being walking distance from theaters, restaurants, bars, churches and beautiful parks , there is something here for everyone to enjoy.
I would like to invite everyone to join in our many neighborhood events. That includes our Spring Concert Series, 4th of July parade and band party, Howl O’Ween pet parade, Thanksgiving on Plymouth, the CIA float in the City Christmas Parade, and our neighborhood Christmas caroling. These events are all sponsored by your Cloverdale-Idlewild Association and provide a great way to meet your neighbors and make new friends.
With these combinations of qualities and features, our neighborhood distinguishes itself from all others. We have CHARACTER. I am proud to be serving as your CIA President.
